It’s been 5 days since Hot Free Press published its much ballyhooed first set of Godometer and Antichristometer readings for the McCain/Palin and Obama/Biden tickets.
It is now time for the highly-anticipated update.

The first set of readings was surprising in that it showed the Democratic ticket to be more God-y and less Antichrist-y than the Republican ticket. Even a casual observer of US politics would find this a most unusual state of affairs.
The most recent readings show that the Democrats have, as expected, taken the lead in Antichristiness, and that the Republicans have made huge gains in Godiness. The Godiness readings of each of the candidates has risen significantly, except for Senator Biden’s. His Godiness reading has fallen considerably. It is unknown now whether Hot Free Press was initially correct in announcing Roman Catholicism to be the One True Religion.
Governor Palin’s Godometer reading has increased by 10 full points. It appears that she will soon pass even the venerable and pious Senator Biden and become the most God-y candidate, thus fulfilling the prophecy as written in some cave by some whacky hermit at some indeterminate time in the distant past.
Senator McCain showed a marked decrease in Antichristiness over the past several days, which is probably some deity’s way of reassuring Rapturists worldwide that Senator McCain is the candidate most likely to bring about an apocalyptic end to civilization.
Governor Palin’s Antichristiness has increased somewhat since 9/18/2008. This inconvenient data, like dinosaur bones, was put here to confuse us.
