The first results from the United States Presidential election are in, and Senator Barack Hussein Obama leads 71% to 29%. Dixville Notch, NH, hardly a bastion of Code Pink coastal liberalism, has resoundingly endorsed Barack Hussein Obama, the final count was 15-6. Ralph Nader received no votes in this, the one Notch where his idiotic candidacy could have made a difference.
The Obama ground game is strong, and his volunteers are out in force in Bug Tussle and Hooterville.
Hubert Humphrey was the last Democrat to win in Dixville Notch. Humphrey is also the only Presidential candidate with a Metrodome named after him.
The last Democrat to win in Bug Tussle was Andrew Jackson, the first President to have two of my friends’ kids named after him.
The last Democrat to win in Hooterville, oddly, was not Bill Clinton, who got a boner every time he heard the word ‘Hooterville’. It was Michael Dukakis. The good people of Hooterville thought Dukakis, when he was wearing the army helmet,

looked like the retarded banjo player from Deliverance,

thus he received the sympathy vote as well as the retarded banjo player vote, the two largest voting blocks in Hooterville.
